Suntech’s Arizona Manufacturing Operations

In October 2010, Suntech opened the doors on our state-of-the-art, 117,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Goodyear, Arizona. Since then, we’ve grown steadily and are now operating 24 production hours per day with an annualized throughput of 50MW, after adding a third production shift in May 2011. Suntech now proudly employs more than 100 well-trained manufacturing professionals in Arizona who are producing about 15,000 high-quality 275W and 280W solar panels per month, with further growth planned.

Strict production guidelines and rigorous quality control ensures we deliver only the highest quality products to our customers. With world-class technology, all of Suntech’s solar panels come with an industry-leading power output warranty that’s on average 6.7% better than the industry standard. Backed by the world’s largest track record of solar installations, with more than 4GW of products delivered globally, Suntech’s advanced solar products are warranted to deliver superior performance over time.

Modules made in Suntech’s Arizona factory satisfy the requirements of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and Buy American Act (BAA), and are Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant.
